Design Services

A phased approach to a successful design process: Conceptual planning, design development, and detailed finish design.

From hand drawn sketches to 3D computer studies and everything in between, we incorporate a wide array of drawing methods to enhance the design process. SF Architecture provides a comprehensive list of design services that includes conceptual design, site planning, design development, and construction documents. We combine these according to the unique circumstances of each project. Some projects may require an in-depth 3 dimensional study; others might benefit from additional site planning, materials research or cost estimation. At SF architecture, we take a fresh approach to each project and tailor a design process that incorporates only the elements that best benefit the project, providing maximum value for the client.

Permitting / Construction Documents

Thorough detailing and technical drawings will ensure high quality construction and streamline City Planning and Department of Building Inspection permitting.

After developing a comprehensive set of construction documents, SF Architecture will facilitate the permitting process. After all, a good design is useless if you can’t build it. We interface closely with DBI (Department of Building Inspection) officials, keep you informed of project status, and ensure that each project tracks safely through this often confusing time. Post-permit we are on hand to help you select a suitable contractor, and work with them during construction to ensure the final project accurately reflects the original design and your goals.
